At Pathway we follow a ‘focus investing’ methodology, the best known proponent of which is Warren Buffett. By focusing on unearthing value in the equity markets, this allows us to be more fundamental and event-driven in nature. We consider ourselves to be long term shareholders in the companies we invest in, compared to other more speculative managers. Significant time spent during the investment process, allows us to take a longer term view on a company’s outlook whilst building in external factors such as macroeconomic environment and the regulatory landscape.
